We are a group of AMFI-students, who are creating the short fashion film 'You Can't Judge A Book By The Cover'. This film isn't your typical love story. The 20-year-old Julien falls in love with the 70-year-old Winifred. The protagonists couldn't be further apart in age but closer together in style.
Get ready for fashion extravaganza, quirky characters and locations, a heartwarming oldie soundtrack, and an unexpected transformation.
Is there a meaning? Yes! Especially in fashion, we tend to put people in boxes, thinking we know they are based on the way they dress. We are commenting on this superficiality in a humoristic way.
We are a group of 8 young talented people, mostly Dutch.
And are looking for a 60-70 year old woman, with preferably white / grey hair. Around 1.70 / 1.75 cm tall. Confection size 38/40. And the actress doesn't need to talk during the short film.
Our main character in the film is called Winifred, she is an extravagant lady, who is living her luxurious life. She is elegant yet contemporary, and loves a good old whiskey every now and then. She is a strong woman, not bothered by the love of a young man.
The shooting days will be from 10/01 till 13/01.
Since we are students and have a low budget, we can offer around €50 per day. But we can negotiate about the rates and extra's we can offer, as for example a professional portfolio shoot.
