This feature film is a dark-comedy/drama about the life of a toxic love triangle. It is a tempestuous relationship between a disabled man who just moved in to Amsterdam, a Latina prostitute with demons of her own, and the psychologist who stands in between them. The project is made with a few resources, and the film will rely mostly in the subtle screenwriting and purposeful acting from part of the small and highly competent cast.
An actor between 35 and 45 (or anything not far from this age range) who is disabled, and uses an electric wheelchair to move about independently. Coming from the UK or Netherlands is preferred, ethnicity is not relevant, although a good level of fluent/native english is a must. Open to talk about life experience and motivated to realistically illustrate lives of disabled people on the screen is expected. First meetings should be via webcam.
Inexperienced actors with a committed attitude are most welcome to apply as well.
Draaidagen: Production period is yet to be defined, still at the early period of pre-production.

Take the lead on an ambitious project, opportunity to work with an award-winning filmmaker (winner at the cannes world film festival for best first-time filmmaker award 2021), explore new an alternate material not often discussed in the mainstream media, small and intimate production team with room for creative expression. - - ideally the candidate should be able to have some creative input on the screenplay and overall story, illustrating realistically the experience of disabled people and their relationship with the wider society.
